PetPromise
is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to
creating a world where there are no more homeless pets
. PetPromise is the real deal--
completely
volunteer
-run
, with a network of dozens of
foster
parents who work hard to socialize, rehabilitate, and snuggle homeless cats and dogs until they find their fur-ever homes. PetPromise receives no governmental funding--they rely solely on donations from public and private individuals, companies, and organizations.
Each year, PetPromise spends tens of thousands of dollars on veterinary care alone.
PetPromise helps many pets that other rescues would consider "unadoptable"
due to age, medical condition, or breed. They rescue strays from the street or from death row at shelters; provide
spay and neuter
services for feral cats; and provide a
pet food pantry
for pet parents experiencing financial hardship. PetPromise finds homes for hundreds of dogs and cats each year--but they can't do it without support from people like us!
When you
donate
to PetPromise, your gift does not cover salaries, rent costs, or any such overhead expenses.
Your gift goes directly towards supporting PetPromise's mission
of ending pet homelessness through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.
